7 Weeks

So week 7 isnt much different than week 6. My sickness isn't lasting quite all day anymore-so thats nice-but I have been throwing up some. I usually get sick around 11 or so and stay that way til about 4ish and then its just hit or miss after that. I am tired a lot and it seems like im doing good to make it til 10:30 pm before I pass out! Jason has even found me asleep on the couch or in the recliner a time or two and had to tell me to go to bed! LOL But anyways that's this weeks update! Only9 more days until we go to the doctor for the ultrasound!! Can't wait!

6 weeks update

So this week I am 6 weeks along and totally feeling pregnant! I don't have "morning" sickness. I have "all day" sickness. I feel nauseous off and on ALL DAY. I feel tired a lot but not as much as I did with Addison, yet... But I know that all this will be worth it in the end so I am trying not to complain too much. And as far as cravings or food aversions go Im not really having any. I seem to be on a hamburger kick but I wouldnt say I am really craving them.
So anyways, I will try to do a weekly update but no promises!

Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday was our church's Easter egg hunt and it was a lot of fun. We had good food and fellowship. I think the adults had as much fun as the kids!

Darlene leading the kids in songs while the men hid the easter eggs.

Addison watching Darlene lead songs.

Our little kids at church-ages 2 and under.

Addison gettin her basket and ready to hunt some eggs!

Here is Addison with the ONLY egg we found. I even had to pick it up and put it in her basket. She was too busy being nosy and watching everyone else LOL! But Addison enjoyed just being outside and walking around and watching all the other kids so as long as she was happy it was fine! She did win a prize for least amount of eggs found!

The Easter Bunny visited Addison!

Addison checkin out her basket.

Bless her heart it was early for her!

She seemed to like what the easter bunny left her!

Overall we had a fantastic Easter weekend! I will post pics of Addison in her cute cute cute easter dress soon!

A Surprise and Blessing from God

So check out this picture...this is what we saw Wednesday afternoon....

Yep thats a POSITIVE pregnancy test!

This was a complete and total shock and surprise to Jason and I. We were not planning on trying to get pregnant for a while but it looks like God has other plans. Now just to be totally honest Wednesday I was not handling the news like I should have. I should have been just thrilled and excited but I honestly just felt scared and anxious and just dumbfounded. I mean sometimes you can try to prevent but nothing is 100% fool proof. Who would have thought that this would happen? We were told just a few years ago that we wouldn't be able to have children on our own without medical intervention. Well miss Addison Grace is proof that wasn't so, but still. Because it took us so long to get our sweet baby girl we never would have thought that we would get pregnant so soon and without even trying. So that alone is in and of itself a great miracle. Today I am truly excited and feel so extremely blessed to have God give us yet another miracle, another child. For Him to entrust us in the care of another life is scary and awesome! We would ask that you would help us pray for this new miracle and pray for our family. It will be an exciting rest of the year!

Here is a picture of Addison wearing her "Big Sister" shirt. We put this on her and took her to see my mom, (Mamaw Joan), and sent a picture of it to my dad, (Grandad), and my brother, (Uncle William), and thats how we shared the news with them.

Yeah, she looks so thrilled to know she's gonna be a big sister! LOL

I will keep you updated and posted as the pregnancy progress. My first doctor's appointment is May 7th and they will do an ultrasound. Thanks in advance for your prayers! Love to all!

Friday Favorite

So for something fun to do on Friday's I have decided to do a Friday Favorite post. Each Friday I will blog about one of my favorite things, people, places, etc. I love to blog but sometimes don't have much to say so this will give me an excuse to blog! So enjoy and please feel free to leave a comment of your "Favorite" for that Friday! So my for this Friday, April 10th since it is Good Friday I will share my favorite bible verse. Its from Romans 8:31 and says "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?"

This became my favorite verse shortly after I was saved. During Sunday School one morning our wonderful teacher, Marcella, read this scripture and taught out of this chapter and it quickly became very special to me. Marcella is a wonderfully spiritual woman to whom I still look up to this day. I am so thankful for her and what she means to me. Anyways, back to the verse... I have many favorite verses of the bible but Romans 8:31 has to be my all time favorite because I can go back to this very for any and every situation they comes my way. Because I know if God is for me then nothing and no one is bigger than Him and can be against me! I thank God for all His MANY blessings and always knowing whats best for me! So please if you would like share with me your favorite bible verse and why. Happy Good Friday and Happy Easter to everyone!!

First sentences!

Tonight Addison said her first real sentences! And she spit out 4 different ones!
First, after church we had dinner up in our fellowship hall and Addison had been playing with the other kids there, mainly her friend Karter. She loves him to death! Anyways he left and she was getting her diaper changed and a lady that sits with us that she loves, Wanda (who is Karter's nana), was in there and Addison looked at Wanda and said "Where's Karter Wanda?" So cute and so plain!
This is Addison, Wanda, and Sarah (another little girl at our church)

This is Karter & Addison

Then when we got home we were playing in the living room and she kinda tripped a little and Jason asked "Are you ok?" and Addison said "I'm ok!" AND THEN she was playing with me and Jason and she said "I got you!"

And the best of all she just said as I was typing this post. She now says "I LOVE YOU!" SO SO SO SWEET!! I love my baby girl!
